In early 2009 Surfait and Nomad discovered the Western world of horses. One little stud, a grullo named Pocos Grey Comet, caught Surfait's eyes as she browsed aimlessly through the Humane Society. He was foreign to her, but had a kind gaze and a sparkle of spirit beneath his eyes that she just could not resist. Quickly she went to ask her best friend Nomad for advice; the two of course came to the conclusion that Poco needed to move in with Surfy. Happily, she trailered him home to Oregon where the rest of her horses boarded.
But little Poco was all alone! And as they learned more about it, the two friends found they wanted more than just one cow horse—they wanted a barnful. Soon the plans were made, the horses were chosen, and Volte's newest premiere Western facility was born. Freebird Farms is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Western world of Volte. With impeccable horsemanship, an eye for quality, and a will to succeed, Surfait, Nomad, and staff hope to rocket to Volte's highest ranks. Please, look around, scratch a few noses, chat with a few students, and see for yourself why Freebird Farms is here to stay. |
